These are locations to which I return often. The shorter days should make landscape photography easier but covering large areas even within a small island such as Ireland takes time.
The sunset on the Atlantic side of Ireland last night was of calm waters and clear, colourful skies - see here for the post and image. This morning's photography comes from Dublin Bay, a large natural bay on the Irish Sea, the small sea that separates Ireland from Britain.
In contrast to the calm waters and clear, colourful skies of last night there were strong waves hitting the coast and cloud on the horizon.
Certainly worth making the effort even if sunrise itself was short lived, the bright sun disappearing behind that horizon-hugging cloud.
On a previous visit the conditions were more favourable - read more http://panoramicireland.com/photo-tours-blog/sunrise-on-dublin-bay.
