Panoramic Ireland shares a joke with President of Ireland
I recently had the opportunity to attend the Festival Interceltique du Lorient, the largest gathering of celtic nations in the world. Held every year in southern Brittany, the festival is attended by almost one million visitors over its ten day run in August in the French town of Lorient.
2014 saw Ireland as the country of honour, and while working at the festival, answering questions and giving advice in French about Ireland and specifically Northern Ireland I had the opportunity to meet the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins and his wife with whom I shared a joke.
