I have enjoyed using Google Plus over the years, with almost 200,000 followers on my famous Ireland collection and hundreds of +1s and comments per post, Google Plus became a place where it was possible to reach and chat with an audience who had a deep interest in Ireland, in my case. Different to those typically found on other social media networks, and sadly misunderstood by those who decided to shut it down.
