A Multitude of Sunrays from the Cloudy Western Sky

Sunset from one of my favourite vantage points, looking west towards the setting sun.

It has been a difficult year so far, 2019, a diagnosis of cancer in January, an operation to remove a large tumour and this week, at the end of March, chemotherapy.

At each stage as throughout the past 20 years, photography has been a big part of my life.

At various points getting out and about with the camera formed an important part of my recovery, at others when unable to leave home it was editing and sorting through old images.

Here, a few images from this week of various sunsets from Ireland looking west towards the evening sky.

Tramonto as it is known in Italian, is an important part of the day and one that has been depicted in art for centuries.

Relax and enjoy, more image to come from Ireland soon as the days get longer and energy levels get higher.

didn't realize this - hopefully all will be well with you. I too have had a bout with cancer; my breast cancer reoccurred. Remain positive and God Bless!
