A short trip through Dublin after the 2014 St. Patrick's Day parade and festival from The Stag's Head to Temple Bar. I didn't visit the parade.
Like my last post on some of the locations associated with Ireland's patron saint, today as a Monday Saint Patrick's Day was always going to be a rowdy, raucous day coming as it did after a weekend's worth of drinking.
All the streets of the city centre from Grafton Street to the cobbled streets of Temple Bar were like a sea of green, with those fake beards, big hats and green clothes along with painted faces.
I could almost imagine that the statistics will show 2014 to be one of the busiest of recent years in Dublin, the whole weekend seemed to have been filled with tourists and out-of-towners.
All in all today saw Dublin's streets filled with colour and variety. Here are a few images of the festivities including the foam in the fountain on College Green.
