Ireland in May, Green and Sunny

Written by
Green landscapes of Ireland in May Green landscapes of Ireland in May

Ireland's green landscapes are looking particularly vibrant at this time of year, we're into the spring month of May now and after the wettest April in Ireland for decades, since the 1940s I believe, we are finally getting some warmer temperatures and sunny days.

Here in this image those conditions can be seen in this colourfully green image of the Irish countryside under a blue sky. A long way away from the cold and snowy landscapes of the winter we've just had - find posts about these days here.

It's always worth waiting for good sunny weather in Ireland, usually not far away- see yesterday's post for the rainy image from the same day.
