Recently while leading another photo tour to my own part of Ireland, County Antrim, we stopped off at the Dark Hedges.

Choosing a morning before all of the groups arrived we had the famous avenue of beech trees pretty much to ourselves as S.S. visiting from California photographed Bregagh Road on this, his first visit to Northern Ireland.

The Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland is one of my favourite parts of Ireland to take workshops and for photography. Principally because this is where I was born and it is a place I remember from childhood and revisit often.

On this occasion I visited the Antrim Coast with Margherita and Clara from Sicily, the land of beautiful scenery including Mount Etna with its long coastline, Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean.

A Game of Thrones Tour of Antrim

Game of Thrones is one of the most popular tv shows ever made. Produced by HBO and based on books written by G.R.R. Martin, the epic fantasy tales have been primarily filmed in Northern Ireland, with the counties of Antrim and Down featured on the first page of the location scout's address book.
