Evening at the Coast

Written by
Sunset at the Irish Coast Sunset at the Irish Coast Panoramic Ireland

An evening at the coast, there's something about the smell of the sea, the bracing winds and walking over pebbles and rocks.

I've said it before and it's well known but there is nowhere in Ireland more than 80 miles from the sea. The Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Irish Sea to the east provide for different experiences, but along all stretches of the coast there is plenty of interest from lighthouses to sandy beaches.

As long as you have warm clothes and plenty of spare batteries, a tripod and a plan of where to get some hot food or tea afterwards then planning some photography along the coast of Ireland at sunset is pretty easy.

There's no need to make it epic, just get out and photograph it.
