The Storm - Dublin's Coast

Stormy by the coast of Dublin Stormy by the coast of Dublin

Sometimes the weather isn't just perfect.

More than the occasional storm passes over Ireland, here's I went out to photograph the end of a storm on the Irish Sea close to Dublin.

The weather plays a big part in landscape and travel photography, planning is important of course but adaptability is too.

Sea spray covered everything in sight including the camera and lens, constant wiping down of the lens was needed to keep the image sharp.

And an eye on the crashing waves was needed to keep the photographer dry, and on dry land.

This was not a day for mountain photography, the coast was definitely the place to go to photograph the elements.

    great pictures
    good morning
    neighbor,
we are having tornado warnings with loud warning horns . this istornado weather and we haven t had one since 69 .when it wiped out a large area of the down tone area.. i heard the shreaking od the wind through the window frames but nobody knew that it was a tornado we were far enough away to see the damage . If we were warned it was by radio and it was unused that time of night .. and no waning blasts from horns were installed.
we were sitting at table playing cards and having a few cups of coffee.
hope you arewarm and cozy ..god bless kathleen
