Wisping cloud and soft landscapes of the Irish mountains

Wisping cloud and soft landscapes of the Irish mountains Wisping cloud and soft landscapes of the Irish mountains

I've been exploring the Irish countryside, photographing landscapes, rivers, woodlands and waterfalls a lot recently.

The weather has been mixed with some fine sunny days and some rainy spells, but the Irish countryside looks great in any case.

Here in this image wisping cloud clings to the side of the gentle contours of the Irish mountains on what some locals would call a 'soft day'.

I headed through this landscape to find interesting scenes of sheep grazing green fields before moving on to photograph rivers and waterfalls - locations that really suited the conditions.

Join me on a photography workshop and tour in the Irish countryside, available all year round in any part of Ireland.
