The journey after lunch was long and we headed towards County Wicklow's most visited place - Glendalough.
Situated in a valley of two lakes (Glendalough actually means literally valley of two lakes), the scenic place made for a perfect location to head to for sunset and we were not disappointed.
The sun was low and we set up our tripods to photograph the valley scene but it was after sunset when the whole landscape was bathed in pinky-orange light that we photographed the reflections, as seen in the image above - and it was just beautiful to stand and watch the beauty of nature in front of us.
It was simply a perfect end to a great day of photography.
