A Scenic Drive Along Ireland's Backroads
Autumn Road

Autumn Road

I took a little drive along some randomly rambling roads recently, autumn had just begun bringing colour to the lush foliage, atmospheric conditions brought fog.

Like many backroads in Ireland there is scenery worth stopping to admire, even if the views aren't wide open as in the more famous regions.

Here nothing other than the hedges covering the road, allowing only a small amount of light through to the tarmac below but what a road to drive along - through the tree tunnel toward twisting turns.

Check out scenicdrives.eu for more scenic drives from Ireland.
