Cygnets on St. Stephen's Green

Written by

The city centre of Dublin would appear to be lacking in wildlife, aside from the creatures that frequent the city's nightclubs on weekend nights!

Cygnets on St. Stephen's Green, Dublin

But St. Stephen's Green with its large lake it is home to plenty of wildlife, not just your run of the mill pigeons and gulls, and these cygnets were more than happy to pose in a quasi-Abbey Road style.

Unperturbed by the thousands of commuters and tourists passing through the park, they were more than happy to eat and pose then eat some more, while walking where they wanted. Unlike the scores of people sitting on the grass on a sunny summer day, the park warden wasn't able to move these cygnets on.
