Torc Waterfall in Winter, County Kerry

Written by

Surely one of Ireland's most famous waterfalls, Torc in County Kerry is a scenic set of falls amidst the lush landscape of southwest Ireland.

Situated ten kilometres from Killarney on the famous scenic drive of the Ring of Kerry, Torc has been a tourist attraction for centuries.

Like most Irish waterfalls Torc is not massive, tall or big in comparison to waterfalls in other countries but as usual the Irish landscape provides its best display here in Kerry.

On a photography tour to the southwest of Ireland, we stopped at Torc to photograph the 20m falls, situated only a short walk from the car park and headed on to our sunset destination in Killarney.

Panoramic Ireland, that's me, create photography tours in Ireland, from Antrim's Glenariff Waterfall to here in County Kerry and Torc Waterfall. Join me on an individualised photography experience in Ireland.
