Another Day, Another Sunset in Galway

Sunset in the northern hemisphere is occurring earlier and now that we are almost in November it will be even earlier, this weekend sees the time change with the hour going back.

This evening the golden rays of light usually seen after 20:00 in the summer was now lighting up the landscape and sky of western Ireland from after 17:00 and this image is from just an hour later, before sunset.

A brisk wind picked up and clouds moved across the sky, with waves frequent but never large, that's a great combination for landscape photography.

So that's right, this time next week sunset in Galway and the west of Ireland will be around 17:00 (that's 5PM for those of you who don't use the 24hr clock).

Don't forget to set your clocks back on Saturday night -24/10/2015.

And there are more sunsets like tonight's and these sunsets.

Join me to learn how to take better images on a photography tour and workshop anywhere in Ireland not just Dublin.
